FTTH / KPN - Haarlem Amsterdamsewijk

After successfully completing the preparatory phase and the planning and design phase in the second half of 2023, everything was ready to begin the implementation phase and construction work in January 2024. This highly challenging project, which involves numerous borings beneath major roads and waterways, aims to connect East Haarlem to the FTTH (Fiber To The Home) network. This will significantly enhance the quality of life and business operations in this modern part of the city. The installation of infrastructure and connection of users for this project are still ongoing. The plan is to cover 12,686 user addresses with a network spanning 92,000 meters. The project is expected to be completed in April 2025, with the goal of providing the entire area with stable and high-speed internet, alongside three other projects in Haarlem.
